Re: Steadiness?
Not everything that gets shot fly's..... You'll not put many rabbits in the pot when the dog's a yard behind it... Re: Hunt whistle
I'll just leave this here....Watch more of his videos, there good. My question to him was "how do you get that noise out of a 210.5" and no, this is not how he'd use the hunt whistle in the field.

Re: Grouse beating
25k, its only 15 miles, which sounds a lot easier. Split it over the course of the day, say 6 hours and its 2.5 miles an hour, positively pedestrian :-) If only it was like that...As Judy has said, add in hot weather, wet weather, midges, last beaters out have to turn round and bring the drive stra...

Re: Grouse beating
I think most beaters will be be on foot all day this season. It's almost impossible to get transport from drive to drive and maintain social distancing.
As I said to a local keeper, this season is going to be like an episode of SAS are you tough enough!!!

Re: J Regs
Don't be daft!!! Naming names would end me up in court!!! There's long in the tooth trailers who will not run under certain judges, if you're involved in trials you'll know that. Experienced trailers I know will not run in Scotland as "the rules are made up as they go!!" When you hwar A p...

Re: J Regs
Sorry to clarify, this document/booklet is called the "mini guide". Are all the Field Trial regs in there, or is this just a summary? All the rules relating to Field Trials and Working Tests are in the J Reg's. Agility is H Reg's, Flyball is V Reg's. The complete set contains all the KC r...
