Re: Price of grouse off shoot
Game dealers up here are charging 30p/bird to take them away!
I have been giving vac packed Pheasant and Duck breasts away, for folk to try. No one has yet asked where they could buy some birds from.

Re: Brexit? Leave or Remain?

I'm taking my chance to vote us out again while I still have that chance. Wullie I made the same mistake back in t...

Beating
I was out beating with my two hooligans on Monday. Standing in the wood, waiting to move off, I noticed Roe deer heading my way. Three went by, at about 70 yards, followed by a soiliary Doe, at 40 yards, or so. My dogs had sussed them, but not seen them. That is, until a buck came within 20 yards of...

Re: Wellington boot care
I have been using silicon spray on my rubber boots for years.
I feel that it does help to prevent , or slow down, the degration of the rubber, and certainly helps the working of the zips.
No specific make/brand of spray.

Warning !
I have been a little reluctant to post this, but decided it would be selfish of me not to. It is a "head's-up" for all of the males on here, not a plea for sympathy. Back in February, I visited my GP, because I had flu. That delt with, I mentioned that I was having a little trouble going f...
