Re: Pointer missing, Creetown / Gatehouse area

That is a great relief. Though such a tragedy.

Re: Neutering

My male dog is very sensitive to my feelings/moods, I have to be a much better person because of it :-D

Re: Ghillie's Report Card

It sounded an idyllic place to stay, though I am very sorry you became so unwell, hope you are feeling better.

Re: Hip dysplasia

It is a recognised operation (or was!) for hip dysplasia in the smaller dog, ie up to Spaniel size. I suppose these days when they can do total hip replacements it isn't done so often. ,

Re: Hip dysplasia

My 6 and a half year old Lab has just started hanging his left hind leg when he gets up in the evening. He seems fine during the day. He is in Yumove. I will take him to the vet when I have time, too busy taking OH to doctor, nurse and hospital!

Probably less likely that woman handlers are not so physically hard on the dogs, but it does happen. I have seen a well known positive trainer, pick up her dog and virtually hang it by its lead, also have experience of another female handler who hits her dogs. There is no need for physical punishmen...

Hey,

Thanks for Sharing Information about dog balance. :)
If you have been using e-collars unwisely you could possibly upset the dog's balance.
