So I've gone back to using a long line for some of my training as he had suddenly decided to play keep away on retrieves. And straight away he's back to his old self, keen to retrieve, delivery good and he'll even sit and wait to be told to fetch. But my question is, how long should I keep using the...

Hmm, that's the one part I'm not convinced about. Maybe just my springer but I do have to feed more than recommended or he'll drop weight. But I he does look good on it and it certainly agrees with him more than most foods.

Thanks all, some interesting information there. All sorted for this time now as pinched half a bag off a friend. There is a csj supplier down the road. I have tried it and it wasn't bad but he's definitely better on kronch. Sadly my bank balance isn't.

So I picked the wrong time to run out of kronch. What's the closest I'm gonna get in the pet shop until I can get some more kronch? He's a bit particular to change.
