How would a good clumber pup from a good working line fair as a wildfowling dog on the shore and inland flights. I watched them at Scone a few years ago and thought they had real potential .

Not long til wildfowling season , Hope everyone has a great season on the shore and you get lots of good morning and evening flights. I find the shore magical even when I don’t fire a single shot.

Totally agree all picker uppers should have done a thorough apprenticeship in the beat line then progress to it. Saying beating will ruin a dog says more about the trainer.
