Re: HELP
I'd agree with both Judy and Rascal. Too much training and the dog becomes bored, and at his age he is becoming a stroppy teenager. We went to the Sherborrne Castle game fair on Monday with our daughter and her 26 month old GWP Eric who was a complete embarresment from the start. He gets very excite...

Re: why some cockers are hairier then others.
I don't think It's just Cockers. My daughters GWP Eric, doesn't have as full a beard and facial hair as his sister. He is also slighter build, hovering around the 25kilo mark, although both parents are on the lighter end of the weight scale for GWPs. It's probably the same as with Humans where sibli...

Re: Looking for good training ground
I'm looking for around an acre of rough ground for training and exercise, but it's like looking for rocking horse poo. Pastureland around here is around £15000 per acre. Rough ground is considerably cheaper, but there's just no small plots for sale. We have the same problem with local parks as James...

Re: 9 week old cocker testing my patience
I know it's not easy, but ignore the pestering for food. Does she have a box with bedding in her crate that she could snuggle into? She doesn't need lots of space when sleeping. She will be missing her litter mates, so the box/bed should alow her to snuggle in and the bedding should wrap around her....

Go to Photos page 23, Erics first Christmas. Eric is a German Wire Haired Pointer. Compare the coat.

Re: Pictures of my girls
Lovely dog. Deffinately a spaniel, but the coat looks like the coat of a German Wirehair Pointer.

Re: The guy chucking the puppy about on the news
I've just watched it. Scum like this should get the same treatment from an all in wrestler. Unfortunately, his face is not shown in sufficient detail, but hopefully he will meet a dog loving, but equally unsavoury character in prison who will give him a good pasting when he realises what he's done. ...

Re: Biting
It does stop. Eric, my daughters GWP used to bite when he was a young pup and, although it took a while, he did stop. Remember pups will also bite when they're teething.
