Re: My pup eats poop!!
If you put pineapple juice on their food it makes the poop unpalatable - best not to water it down and you have to do it all the while until they get out of the habit of it. It does work though.

Re: tea bagclippings as bedding
I get mine from JSL Coachbuilders but they have bumped the price up to £12.50 a bale PLUS delivery which is just ridiculous. Where are you based, be happy to split a pallet - am in Warwick. Is the Fitch stuff tea bag paper or just paper???

Re: painting of my spaniel.
We've used Sarah Bowman several times : based just outside of Banbury. This is her website http://www.sarahbowmananimalportraits.co.uk/ The black lab at the top of the page on left is my husband's lab Ash and if you scroll down the lemon roan cocker is Bliss. She's also down my clumber. Between £375...

Re: Crufts 'gundogs'
I went yesterday morning for the first ever time - was back home by 1pm totally in shock. Goldies were WHITE, labradors were short, fat and bull headed, cockers were totally unlike any of the workers that we see out in the field. The clumbers ............. one woman I spoke to thought that its hip s...

Re: Using quail to steady
Yes - with my trainer - on cockers and clumbers. Excellent because they only flush a few feet upwards and then scoot about in the undergrowth. Ideal for youngsters. I wouldn't try them on my own but have only had good experiences with them.

UPDATE She's home! Re: Seasonal Canine Illness - Oct 13
Skye was released from the vet hospital yesterday evening. Had hoped for her to come home Friday but when I went to visit her she had just been sick so they wanted to keep her in overnight. The difference between Friday at 6pm and Saturday at 6pm was amazing back to normal wiggly cocker who promptly...

Re: Seasonal Canine Illness - Oct 13
There was a local incident recently where x2 people were training their dogs. Little cocker went down with SCI very poorly, the other dog was COVERED in the mites but had no adverse effects. Makes you wonder whether it is an allergy thing - I react 100% worse to mozzie bits than my husband does - so...
