Dog training is an on-going daily task- sit and wait for food etc, but how often do folks go out with their dogs and have a dummy throwing session?
Curious to hear everyone's view on this.

Re: Stopping whining?
As usual, excellent advice. On reflection I have never really made my dog wait for anything so it's my own fault. I suppose there is no point crying over an impatient, squeaky dog. Lesson learnt and things will most certainly be done differently next time round. Just a shame it's been at the expense...

Re: Quartering
Can anyone point me in the direction of some youtube links with excellent examples of quartering that shows both the dog and the handler in action? Need something to aspire too!

Thank you.
Information worth knowing.
Anything that will better the breed has surely got to be a good thing.

Is there an ideal age for these tests to be done and are they blood tests or by another method?

Re: AMS in cockers.
Out of interest, which DNA tests would you recommend before considering breeding from a cocker?
And once tested do the results stand for life or are some of them an annual thing?

Back to basics, go through all the points that you've mentioned as if it was the first time you'd tried to teach that lesson, keep everything a few feet (8/10) from you and DO NOT move from one lesson to another unless it does it to your, not it's satisfaction. I go through procedure with most of m...
