Dougal is now 6 months, and over the past month he refuses to return the dummy....! He will walk for miles with the dame thing in his mouth..... Run the other way if I turn.... Food rewards aren't working, and throwing the dummy in a confined space isn't working either..... The only thing I think of...

Just turned 6 months......

Just got a outdoor kennel/run setup for my IWS. He is hell for being in rivers, most times we are out for a walk. When I get him home I towel dry him, and put him in the kennel/run. But hours latter he is still soaking.! What the best thing to use inside the kennel to keep him warm, and dryer etc.! ...

I'm about to build a outdoor run for my dog...

Am I best building the base on the flat, or a slight slope to let the water run off...?

Just bought my IWS pup a slip lead, but a friend who has working dogs says I shouldn't use it, until he is 1 plus...!

Told me it can damage his neck etc....

I only want to get him used to it slowly, around the garden etc....

All of the trainers I have spoken to in NI, want to take the dog for 9+ weeks and do it at there kennels.!

I want to do this myself, if you know what I mean.
