Stop whistle at a distance.
Hi any tips to teach my dog stop on the whistle at a distance? Hes a 15month old cocker he has a sharp stop when hunting and can be stopped on his way out fir a retreive within close proximety of me. I think any shooting should require a dog hunt close, I have a springer to hes what i describe as a one band mans dog he a great worker and finds game but works to far out. I dont shoot so not to much of an issue but i do beat with him. Hes under control but work to far out. I would prefer him work ...

Im amazed tbh! So your all saying i should take my 6 month old cocker who all he knows is a tennis ball and a dummy who i havnt steadied up yet have some cold game or am i missing something!
