Re: Hard (character) Cocker Stud
IMG_0469.JPG Thanks everyone, and for the PMs too. I'll speak with Will C and Andy R. I'm trying to give myself the best chance of a good old fashioned hard headed type of pup and I think Judy is right, I'll pick the one that shows those qualities as a pup and hope it retains those traits. I'm a co...

Romanriver - I'm a rough shooter and spanielman who's been off the scene for a few years. Got my first dog in a while having won a few field trial awards with my springers as a teenager.

Hard (character) Cocker Stud
Hi all I'm looking to breed from my rather gentle natured cocker bitch next year and wondered what there was in about in terms of hard going dogs. Either FTW, OFTW or FTCh as I want some assurance that they are proven in terms working ability and free of faults - as much as a trial win can prove suc...

I have one cocker at the moment who happily lives out in a heated and insulated kennel, I switched the heating off back in April and she spends the days sat out in the run with her blankets that she likes to take from the inside and ma...

I am based in a village near Bakewell and have a 15 month old cocker bitch. If you're local you'll know there are loads of decent places for training. My little bi...

Treatment for Kennel Run
Hi all I am new to here and about to get my first gundog in about 13 years (a cocker this time, previously springers and a forced break due work!) and am in the process of setting up my kennels in advance of her arrival! As with my previous dogs, I'm expecting her (and others when I get more) to go ...
