sharpening up the stop whistle

hi, I have a 10 month old lab dog I have been training for a couple of months, his recall is brilliant but his stop whistle isn't always perfect, when on the lead or walking to heal he hits the ground as soon as I blow the stop but when he's out in front he finishes sniffing or what ever he is doing...

I am a bit consered after reading about an ess that went off its legs and ended up st the vets because it worked its self too hard when it could have been avoided by a small snack to keep the blood sugars up. She is well conditioned and fit I just want to make sure she isn't working herself to hard ...

hi all,
my ess bitch is getting a bit older now so I was thinking of giving her something during the day to help her keep her energy levels up. I saw on sporting saint the power bars, are these any good or is there a better option out there?

Lan scared of pheasants!!!

Hi all, Cut the wings offs couple frozen pheasants today with the intention of putting them on a dummy, when I got into the house the lab was petrified of them to the extent he won't go within a few meters of them!! Please help what can I do? It's a 7 month old lab dog with a good pedigree from work...

As above with the ridgline, tried one for stalking but it was like wearing a bin bag, not breathable atall. Now wear a deer hunter ram, not the best and not the worst but not so exspenaive you have to avoid every bramble in sight
