pedigree research

Post by High On » Sun Apr 22, 2018 2:30 am

Researching health tests before selecting a sire. This relates to the pedigree of Syncerus Sinbad.
The pedigree is ESS and include three animals I am researching. Any help is appreciated. The names are Glynvilla Griffin, Rytex Retes and Hattonswood Brock. PM me with any information that is accurate. Thanks.

Use the UK Kennel Club open database for details. www.MyKC.org.uk The most useful tool is Progeny Health Tests. Set up Account and enter the database. Open Tools and Resourses, open Look Up A Dog, Enter Spaniel (English Springer) under Select Breed. Then enter name of dog. Menu now reads Overview/Health/Siblings/Progeny/Pedigree. Select Health to see if the dog has any health tests. Then move to Progeny and a list comes up. On the right hand side, select Compare Health Tests and any Progeny results will come up. Ditto Siblings.

I know that Sinbad nor Sally have had any testing done at this time. So I'm going into his pedigree for answers.
