Boots that have stood the tests of time for 40 years and received nothing but praise must be good boots..... I've now convinced myself that I need to buy a pair to go with my 4 pairs of leather boots and at least 3 pairs of wellies !

Hi. Any boots which are better for narrow feet!
I use Hunter Wellies (for general mucking around!) as these are narrow fitting and have tie up winter boots but need to sort myself out with some 'proper' gear!

Boots made on European lasts are always narrower.

Mind, doesn’t matter how cheap or expensive my boots are I always end up with wet feet after having to cross an uncrossable burn somewhere on my travels.

I still can in my mind’s eye.

I’ve got this Jesus complex where I think if I run across quickly enough the water won’t have chance to overtop my boots, a bit like walking on water. Wrong! :brickwall: :brickwall:
