Kilcurragh Pedro

Post by Springcopse spaniels » Wed Nov 21, 2018 7:02 pm

Newly offered at stud, Quercus is a hard hunting dog with pace and style, an excellent marker and natural retreiver, typical traits from his old fashioned Irish breeding of Pyecross, Monalue and Sprucehill lines. His keen focus and willingness to please mark him out as my future trials dog along with his excellent temperament and outstanding natural abilities. Health tested with excellent results (see MyKC.org.uk) and would produce matings with low COI (6% to 8%) with modern bitches from current trialling lines. Based in West Sussex, proving stud fee offered at £100.

Do these dogs prefer company or are they just fine being in a single dog environment?

Majority of modern bred dogs are social animals and follow what few people would call pack theory.
Some dogs prefer to distance themselves from much human integration and can be more awkward.
As to your question, probably no different to a family environment with a single child 🤔
