Fair point Paul. One of the guys that really rated him was his breeder so I guess he's bound to say that. I haven't seen the dog so I can't comment on his potential as a FTCh or lack of.
Back to the main point of the thread, FTCh Cheweky Bovril aka Rooney, a top dog that is well worth using in my humble opinion. Shame he is too closely bred to my own bitch.

I have seen both dogs in action.
Bovril stood out for me head and shoulders over Freddie. There was also a buzz about Bovril on the day that you don't see often.

Well we have been to visit Rooney....and he is a cracking dog, exactly what we wanted from a Sire. He has drive when needed, but also has an off switch which is very important to us...so all in a spot on dog, a real credit to Martin....and Martin is great, calls a spade a spade, nae messing about..just what we want..so all is go for mating...really excited about it....

has to be a good one im sure he wouldnt be about as long as he has if he were a bad one and he has a very good producing pedigree behind him.i suppose there should be a few about sired by him this year
