Hi MS,

What a cutie.

I've popped your pup here so you've got your own thread! :)

She is a little monster but fab...... just comming up to 11 weeks old and learning fast..... she will be worked with my birds and some beating for this year then i may look at trialing her in the future but i have never done that before so its all new to me.

Adorable little crocodile, thank you for sharing! Beating this year already and you plan to trial her later? Get real, dude!    I admit to nurturing some wild hope to show my pup a bit of wildlife late this season as training but as far as to beating, no way will little Miss Cheese Doodle manage that without going bonkers and she's a month older than yours! However, don't let my worries stop you.

It will be later on in the season but we will see how she progresses... No rush for her but I will try a little with her on some of the days...

Don't rush her. I made the mistake of taking my cocker then 8 months old picking up as was unable to get childcare a couple of days last season. Yes she swept at the end of the drive as good as any other dog but it has caused major problems further down the line which I am still working on a year later. Use this season to introduce cold and warmish game but from experience I really don't recommend taking a puppy out on a shoot day.

Thanks. I won't rush her. She will only go when she is ready.
