Re: How to add an Avatar
iv reduced the size in photobucket to the smallest size, then saved it to my comp but still when i upload im getting:
Even though im using 100px by 90px as suggested
The submitted avatar is 160 pixels wide and 120 pixels high. Avatars must be at least 20 pixels wide and 20 pixels high, but no larger than 100 pixels wide and 90 pixels high.

Re: How to add an Avatar
Have you tried this method below
smudge04 wrote:Hi Damian,
Here's a little more info for you:
When you get to the profile settings for the avatar it should look like this:
Next you need to select & copy the web-address of the image that you wish to use, for instance here's an image that I uploaded to photobucket recently:Now paste this web address into the "Link off site" box:Code: Select all
http://i551.photobucket.com/albums/ii454/gundogtrainingforum/DSC03586-1-1.jpg
Next, as this image is 'too large' at 334x292 pixels I need to set the 2 Avatar dimensions. So I choose the maximum 100 px x 90 px - this resizes the image to this size:
Now you should be able to click submit & your avatar will be available!
You can't click on the image before or after setting it up.
Where have you uploaded your image to? Photobucket.com or Flickr or somewhere else?
Do you know how big it is?
Iain

Hi Nette, can you post the link to the image here? I can have a look at why it won't go into your avatar.
