Hi,

My name's Ron and pictured below (I'm not so photogenic :)) is my 7 month Cocker named Meg.
IMAG0092.jpg
My wife and I only took care of Meg on Boxing day but luckily she's turned out to be a cracking dog with the previous owner performing a sterling job in raising her. I'll add that the previous owner was my sister's Mother-in-Law who had to give Meg up (very reluctantly) for genuine reasons.

I plan to Gundog train Meg so living in South Oxfordshire would be very interested in hearing from local owners if at all possible.

Been browsing around the forum the pass few days and there's clearly a wealth of knowledge and information on here that will keep me busy for now but I'll follow this post up shortly in the 'Training Gundogs' section a little later with my initial questions :)

Nearly turned into more of a life story than an introduction so will cut it short there :)

All the best for 2012 from Meg and I...

Hi, Welcome to a proper dog and her owner. :-D Good luck with her.
In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.

Welcome. Where about in south Oxfordshire are you. I spend most of my time in Bix near Henley and work my cocker on the estates there.
