Hello from Newcastle upon Tyne

Post by elaine »

Hello, I live in Forest Hall, Newcastle upon Tyne and have two dogs. One x collie lab about 7 yrs old and the other I got from the shelter a couple of yrs ago. She has had loads of issues, but I have worked a lot with her mostly by myself and she is doing well. I would like to do some gun dog type training with her and know that in the summer I met a group at the Rising Sun country park just before my hols who said I could join them. However I have looked for them since and haven't found them. They also trained at the Queen Alexander Country Park at Ashington - does anyone know where they train now or if they start back in the summer? Any other suggestions for training in my area would be welcome.

Hi Elaine

I am one of that group, pleased to hear you haven't given up.

Will probably start training again when the light nights arrive.

Will pm you my contact number.

Watch out for that Shamy though she wears strange smelling hats

Thanks to Shamy and Marion for PMing me. I will get in touch with Marion - tried to reply to your messages, but they seem to be stuck in my outbox. I'll watch out for the smelly hats, but all of my (dog walking) clothes smell strange anyway!
