It'll be like something from East Enders, Footballers' Wives or TOWIE.......... "Leave it aht, Chardonnay".
Inside every springer, no matter how well trained, is an idiot trying to get out

Re: registering a litter
The rules of naming puppies with the KC is a maximum of 24 letters, if you have an affix it must be the first word, then lets assume your affix is 8 letters, this leaves you with up to 16 letters to use, which can be made up of any amount of words. I prefer to use one word as it's easier and tidier especially when filling out KC entry forms as there is not much space!
I used to use a theme, which looked good all listed together but some names on their own just looked silly and new owners were not always impressed with my choices.
Now I start each litter with the same letter, this way I know which litter they belong to if someone mentions them to me a few years down the line.

Re: registering a litter
Im sure there used to be someone on here that had a GSP called Bolli?
so are you going to have a Verve cliquot?
some breeders let you choose which of a group of names they want for their dog. i,e you give them a list and they assign the name to the dog they've chosen. Makes it more personal.

I love it when they let you choose, with my labrador we were free to choose as long as it was something to drink. I like funny names and names which can be used as callnames. Not so fond of frilly names but i got a friend breeding CC''s and they all get long fancy names with different themes. She have fun with it which is all that matters so..

Re: registering a litter
I was allowed to choose Tank's registered name (breeder's didn't have an affix) as as he was my first cocker he ended up being called Odd Bod Returns....
