"Taxi" is the best name I've heard so far. Somehow it suited the cocker it was applied to.

SP, I've met a springer called Google too, I thought it was a good one as well.

Been looking at girl names lately as it looks like I'll be getting a bitch pup. I had planned on a dog but there was only 1 born and he's a golden, and I don't really care for that color (not that color is important). So far the top contender is "Belle" but its just not... Gundog enough for me hahahaha.

Perhaps try and think of something to do with her colour. My dog's brown and my daughter came up with Nutmeg, or Meg for short. The dam is all black and called Indigo, Indy for short. Grandma's a white dog with bits of black. She's called Lily. Get my drift?

Do you know what her registered kennel name is? Sometimes that can give you inspiration. Ie my youngest Lab is Luclanig Mikado. So we decided on Mika.

No, the breeder said he usually lets people pick the dog's call name first and then goes from there for its registered name. The breeder's prefix is "Columbias"

My cockers have been / are : Mocha, Tia, Breeze, Bliss, Skye & Connie
My favourite (owned by a Keeper) was "Oi" - only risk there is that it could go to anyone!!
I always like to look back through the pedigrees on both sides and see if anything jumps out. Also know a "Wag" - which is brilliant!
Owned by 4 working cockers, 1 lab and 1 working clumber .......................!!!

I always liked Fae... But perhaps better suited to a mild well behaved labrador... Hmmm.. Batwoman..eer sorry no :16: give her the most beloved name you can think of, then it will feel right.

Helene

Ps. I want Fae...
