have and do walk one to heal while working one and it is just like one on one situation , during training i try to keep them to 10 yards max and as other have said naturally they work that little more to 20 when there is game about and strong smells etc i think i will just keep up the one and one and hopefully with age and more training they will settle , when i work them in thick cover they work on there own and don't follow each other and they cross over when quartering but when they in open field or approaching a hedge or wood when walking 2 they will edge each other on to run in but i suppose that the reason why i have been doing one on one , i have set up little tests for them one on one i.e walk to heal 20 yards sit stay while i walk away 30 yards thrown dummy in rough keep in the sit 30 sec send in for retrieve then again walk 50 yards send in for blind retrieve from the stay position close in, then put dummy out 50 yards and stop the dog on 2 occasions while retrieving then take from hand and walk to heal to start point and over the last 4 weeks they have been doing fantastic and are so sharp and alert but when you put 2 in the situation l :brickwall: lol lol
