When i first introduced my dog to our old chickens she ran straight to the run and barked loudly in one of the hens faces, the hen just looked as if to say 'and...what'?! She's ignored the chickens ever since, too 'boring' to bother with! The duck however was a different matter... duck got hold of dogs tail, dog got hold of ducks tail, and they just spun round in circles, they never got on, he was an indian runner duck, and a bit of a grumpy one at that!
We have a Frizzle cockerel, he is lovely, just looks like he has gone through the tumble-dryer

Last summer my friends cockerel attacked her husband by digging its big spurs into the bare calf of his leg . Bloody sore he said !
I have had a day of the dogs barking constantly at the chicken pen ! Will they ever give up ?
