( you would qualify for breeder rates ;)

Brilliant food , solid poos and pups look great on it :-D
Anyone qualifies for breeders rates, all you need to do is apply online, they don't home check ;)

I used simpson's premium adult food, lamb and potato and will do so again although it won't be for another couple of years yet.

Rothievale wrote:Right, I know this will spark off a debate but just wanting to know what puppy food people use and are happy with. The last two litters I have used arden grange weaning but on both occasions they went through a bout of being really loose. I use beef trim, sardines and bones but don't like giving tripe to pups and also a dry food is easier for those taking the pups. The best litter I have reared was on Nutro but they pulled out of the UK. Money not important, just want chunky pups and solid poos!!
Found this whilst searching for something else;

Junior CSJ champ my litter are on, all are looking great and getting nice and big. The new owners "to be" are all impressed with their condition. Can't fault it :clap:

When we got ours, he was on Hills,(could only get it from the vets), so changed to welbeloved and started to get loose poo too, now he is on Beta and is doing fine, no more loose stuff. :-D

Watching this thread with interest...

Pippa was reared on Hills Science Plan - stools always pretty light in colour not solid.

Hill science puppy food poo stinks! And is soft!

Great topic!

Thanks for all the input and to Rascal for finding Nutro. I think I'm going to try Applaws as it has better ingredients and nearly the same price

Our pup suffered from soft poo for what seemed like ages. After trying various brands, numerous trips to the vet (and a process of elimination) It turned out that it was a rice intolerance. We have been using 'CSJ No grainer' which we are very happy with and the poo situation is completely sorted.
CSJ also do 'fit n fast' which also contains no rice. CSJ are always happy to send out free samples- visit http://www.csjk9.com
Hope this helps. :-D
