Elmo wears a 1/2 inch, quick release Lupine Collar. Although I don't work him, he does spend a lot of his time in the undergrowth! Taz, the Colllie wears one too. I know the quick release works as we have had to play hunt the collar for hers a couple of times!

My two have just been treated to the Indigocollars having seen the recommended here.
Schilling has always had a traditional style tag on his rolled leather collar but Dicey didn't have a tag until now. Now he has just about got to his full neck size I didn't mind investing. They both wear them when they are out on walks, never in the house.

Re: Do your dogs wear collars?
my old dog wears a bioflow collar with a magnet which is supposed to do something for his stiff ole joints, I figure the worst it can do is nothing. I'll put a collar on the young dog if I'm going somewhere 'official' or somewhere that's not local, but other than that I don't worry. i very seldom see other people or dogs where I train.
cheers,
Alice.

Mine always wear them as we live in town. I take it off when he's in the water or the bush though

Interesting array of replies. Those indigo tags look interestingt, thanks. I reckon I'll try the local saddlery as being based in Newmarket there's lots of people still making handmade bridle work - I'm think a dog collar should be easy enough for one of them?

Perryperryperry, I had a Bioflow collar for my late Springer. I now wear it round my knee at night! It certainly helps!

Re: Do your dogs wear collars?
Got one collar that is nearly 25 years old with my favorite dogs name on it. It is used when I can remember to put it on which is not very often. Oh, I call all my dog pup the same name as I only have one at a time, now my bitches had collars but are very safely stored somewhere as I cannot find them.
