As the title says, does anyone know of a decent trainer in Aberdeenshire who offers residential training? I've got a client who is out of his depth with his cocker pup (8ish months?) and desperate for someone to do the training for him. I would love to get my hands on the little guy, as the last time I saw him he had potential stamped all over him! Unfortunately I don't yet have kennels built, so unable to take extra dogs just now.
The pup comes with some built in issues - he was taken rabbit shooting at just 16weeks...
help is most definitely needed!!
Pup will be for rough shooting, definitely no tests/trials as not KC reg.
Thanks,
Lucy

From a man that knows, Lockerbie ain't in Aberdeenshire
As an aside, contact Druimmuir Spaniels.

It's about as south as you can get in Scotland, but I know what you mean :P

Thanks for the suggestions....even the Lockerbie one
I'll keep note of it if nothing more local turns up.
I'm sorry, I should've said in my original post that I already asked Druimmuir a while ago and she unfortunately, but understandably can't take him.
Is there really nobody doing residential training in Aberdeenshire anymore?

Why does it have to be local for residential training, if the dogs going to be there for a number of weeks surely it's worth going to your trianer of choice?

Very true WGD, and something I have already said to the owner - but he is set on the idea of local!
Edited to add - Although he is getting a tad desperate now!

He's based in Culter, mainly a Lab man but trains Spaniels too.
