rabbits seem patchy this year, we have few and there are normally lots- its not mixi but I have been finding dead ones totally untouched by predators. A patch not 4 miles away is totally lifting with them though. Speaking to guys around the country getting the same tale

There are a lot with that Chinese disease. Like you say perfectly healthy looking rabbits but dead.

Much the same here. Some parts of the surrounding countryside that I used to hunt my previous dogs over now have very few rabbits. One or two places still have them in numbers but those numbers have decreased during the autumn. I haven't seen a myxied rabbit for quite a long time but I have found a few dead rabbits that seem to have died of "natural causes."

What about Rabbit Haemorrhagic Disease (RHD)? Is that endemic in GB?
