We live in South West Scotland and have a 10 month old Springer Spaniel that I have been trying to train up. I have been reading these forums since he arrived but only just decided to register and join up - lots of excellent advice that has helped us off to a good start!
He is called "Rizzle" a name chosen by my son after the band Rizzle kicks - I quite liked it as it is different and I think conveys the mentalness of a springer (i have found that you can also shout it quite well through gritted teeth
)Got into shooting (mainly clays) about 3 years ago but have had a few walked up days which introduced me to the game scene and obviously working the dogs which has got me hooked. Hoping to progress in his training and hopefully do some shooting / beating with him when he is ready.
