Blue Roans

Haven't seen many blue roans at trials is there a reason for this?

I know where there is a quality blue roan cocker out of championship winner 2year old only reason not trialled yet is the man is extremely busy with work.

Maesydderwen Supremacy is apparently the only blue roan novice winner, although I'm sure I know of another one, but it might be more black and white than true 'roan'.
cheers,
Alice.

Colour prejudice? Plus it's recessive to solid colours so with so many solid FTCH's to put bitches to colours like roan get lost. It seems a common colour in the field and they don't seem any 'worse' than solid cockers to me! LOL

According to the pedgiree info ours has Maesydderwen jackdaw as great great great grandparents. So there is some connection between ours and Supermacy. Woo Hoo! Not sure if the dam is the same would have to double check. A return of the blue roans?

Allegedly one of the top trailers has a young blue lad that has it all and should go all the way.

Think its a watch this space…personally i wouldn't have any other than a roan ;)
