need help with name for a brown cocker bitch

[Stacia]

Flick? Though I like the name Hazel.

[Penwithian]

I like Hazel too. Had it on my shortlist for a bitch pup from my litter...only had dog pups though! ....although the rabbit in Watership Down was called Hazel, and he was a boy...but i think its lovely for a chocolate girl!

A friend has an ESS named Hazel, it's also my sister's name.

I named my liver & white Pointer Bracken but also like Fern, Ash & Kite.

If I ever have a liver/brown one I would like to call it Toffee or Fudge, but it would more likely be called Oi come here your little bar steward as most of the others I have had

In light of recent events, how about Nellie or Mandy from Nelson Mandela ....? Just a thought.

[DJS]

I had always thought of names before before I get a pup, i would then change it when I get to know the pups personality. Jack was going to be called Charlie until we were bringing him home. My parner had him in a box on the back seat, he kept trying to escape, and she kept saying "back in your box", it then turned into "in your box", then "jack in the box". So I would say, wait, and get to know the pup.
