Hi folks, hope you all had a good Christmas and boxing day!!
If you were only allowed one book for this job, what would it be? I want to buy my friend a book to help him train his lab pup, it is 5 months old? It will be a rough shooting dog. A belated Xmas pressie but better late than never.

I have a copy of Training The Working Retriever by Anthea Lawrence. I find it very well written, easy to understand and pretty methodical.

Thank you for the replies. I have checked and it is available on amazon in hardback version.

On first glance it seemed cheaper but there was a very slight saving via amazon, plus I had an account already set up on amazon. Thanks for the link, good for future ref.
