And while I'm at it, folks that drive down country lanes and stop dead because there is a car coming in the other direction. :? If the road is wide enough for the other car to pass you while you are stationary it's wide enough for you to pass each other whilst both cars are moving.. :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:

Gosh that feels better...

I feel your pain. Its even worse when 2 tractors pass by each other with no problems however the dithering fool in the Micra (usually silver) seems to brake hard and come to a stop!

And while we are at it. Cyclists. Why on why do middle aged men feel the need to don lycra and then peddle with reckless abandonment around country roads in groups making it way more difficult to pass.

Lottery ticket, bingo ticket, etc. etc. etc. ! Shops that sell these things should have a separate stall that sells only those things. I get very annoyed at having to wait in a queue while half a dozen people in front make their selections of what cards to gamble away their money on.

... and worse knowing that four years ago you would have got interviews for at least half of them!

Never mind I came second at an interview last week ... erm but there is no prize for second so how do I gain from knowing I was not good enough ... because I spent 5 minutes of the 15 minute typing test adjusting the chair, the keyboard, the monitor and then 10 minutes holding the copy sheet up because there was no copy stand ... grrrrr

with apologies for stealing your rant Recluso ...

The T.V. .... Why do modern day actors have to either whisper or talk low and "husky ?" Why do actresses have to talk through their noses or mumble ? Do directors deliberately ask these people to talk in that way ? I Both my wife and thought for a while we were needing hearing aids we had great trouble making out what the folk on the T.V. were saying and turned the sound up yet the music and the cars and the guns all sounded very loud. Then we watched a couple of old 1960's films and discovered we could easily hear every word the actors said. It's time actors and actresses learned how to talk clearly again.
