Re: Pictures of my girls
Clumber is a breed of spaniel and I also thought the mother looked like a Clumber spaniel

That is very interesting. I have never heard of a clumber spaniel. ( can you tell I am a complete novice)
I am going to have a quick google on them now
Nobody has never even mentioned anything about her not being a cocker? not even vets.

Aye but she's not pure cocker if her grandma was a sprocker - that means there is at least some springer Spaniel on there

Craig m I mean nobody's mentioned Honey looking like a clumber spaniel, not about tizzy being a full cocker, which I understand she isn't having a bit of springer.
I goodgled clumber spaniel and I can understand what you mean about honey, her head and eyes are very simalar but her body is nothing alike ? These are a couple of photos of honey which shows more of her.

As with most gundog breeds, there are some differences between the working and show Clumbers. Working Clumbers are less heavy that those from show lines. There are pictures of one here http://corbinsberegundogs.co.uk/page/245472-duke.aspx

It may just be the angle of the photo but her head looks like a Clumber spaniel ! No offence meant , I like Clumbers and they both look lovely dogs !Wizzy tizzy wrote:Hi all..![]()
Her dad is a chocolate/chocolate roan show cocker. And mum is a working cocker, don't know if it makes a difference but tizzy's grandmother was a sprocker? But i know there is nothing but spaniel in her.
Mike A, would does clumberish mean? Do you mean chunky? If you do, she isn't it is just the way she is sitting awkward on one side? If this isn't what you mean i apologize.

No offence taken at all. It's interesting to learn new and different breeds (new too me anyway) I can totally see what you mean by it tho, I've looked through the clumber spaniel pictures and her head and eyes do look very alike.
Maybe there is some of it in her further down her line?

Clumber is a breed of spaniel so clumberish wasn't a criticism.
Long legged working anglo-Germanic cocker pointer would be my best guess.

He means she looks like she has Clumber Spaniel in her... They are a large spaniel breed (and gorgeous if you ask me!)Wizzy tizzy wrote:
