I would possibly be interested in this as well.

With regards David Campbell I believe he was involved in the Ayrshire Gundog Club a few years back, training nights/days were held at Cowans Law shooting ground and the tests at local estates, however this club appears to have disappeared. My OH was a member in it's first year, she went along to a few training days and also entered a puppy test. However she was most unimpressed by the setup for various reasons, which I won't go into on an open forum. I can only surmise that this is why the club fizzled out.

Ah... I didn't know they'd fizzled out :) I lost his number a few years ago when I stupidly left my phone at B&Q and some bugger took it...

Graeme,
We continued to receive emails from the club for a couple of years. I actually still have them archived so am sure David's number will be in there if you require it. I haven't heard of him for a while though, but I am sure Jay at Cowan's Law will have it as he was a regular face up there.
I am really surprised the club did fizzle given the number of shooters etc. in Ayrshire and it's a pity as I now have more time and inclination to be involved in a decent club without travelling all over the countryside.

He did a couple of training days for us when I was organising them for NOBs members. He brought with him some of his followers/members... I've no need to contact him but thought he might be worthy of a call from any local Ayrshiremen lol...

If you're interested in coming along to our wee sessions you're welcome. I'm running them as an extension to my dog training school (pet dogs) for those who are interested in gundoggery.

At the moment we're training every second Sunday close to Erskine Bridge...

Thanks Graeme, I work 3 out of five Sundays and then I am normally shooting clays when I am off so it's a bit of a struggle. When is your next day?
