If the bitch was covered accidentally then why didn't he get her the "morning after injection"? Oh, cos you have to pay for that but can ask £1800 for a bitch in pup apparently. Huh.

OMG! Poor wee soul. The contrast between this awful situation and the breeder I am getting my new pup from is so great it brings me to tears. I do so hope that some kind soul will take her. Why do such people have dogs? I have little sympathy with the owner I'm afraid. Yes, I realise that sometimes life just does do awful things to us and we need to be helped out but I dont think this sounds anything like that. Wont be able to stop thinking about her now.

Would they be able to do anything?

Report him for what?

However distasteful you may find this I see no evidence of cruelty, he may even have the best interest of the bitch at heart.

From the photo she looks in decent shape, glossy coat and well cared for.

Some of you need a reality check

The picture is of the sire not of the bitch but I see the advert isn't current any more so lets hope she's found a good home.

The pictures are of two different dogs, two showing what looks like a pregnant bitch in decent condition, the other of a dog holding a bird.

Sorry Beechessam I hadn't looked at all the pictures....

When you think about it, it's no different from people sending their dogs south of the border for whelping in order to have them docked.

Anyhow hopefully she's found a good home..

How is it no different?? People sending bitches south to be whelped so that the pups can have a fulfilled working life with minimal injury is an entirely different thing from selling a pregnant bitch to the highest bidder. Why doesn't he hand her into a rescue with facilities and ability to deal with pregnant and nursing bitches?

It's his dog and his choice what he does with his dog. If he sells her to a better home what's the issue?

Your issue is he's charging £1800, you'd all rather he gave her away. Charging that money will put off chances looking to make a quick buck, why burden over stretched rescues?

No one knows the full story, as stated the dogs look in good condition. As long as she ends up safe happy what's the issue

Or maybe you'd feel better if he kept the bitch and whelped her knowing he cant do the best for her and her pups, sold sub standard stock and potentially makes more money?
