facial spasms
A friend has a young labrador dog who is on metacam for a sprained shoulder, he has been on it for about a week , in the last couple of days he has developed spasms/ shaking in his face and jaw, not long lasting but quite noticable anybady else come across this? may be nothing to do with metacam?
Re: facial spasms
I’ve not experienced similar side effects with Metacam, my thoughts are has he damaged his neck or spine at all? How did his injury to his shoulder happen could this have caused a neck/spine injury too which has perhaps gone undiagnosed?

Re: facial spasms
I would be thinking along the same lines as Rascal.
My Pointer had a herniated disc in his neck, between c2-c3, his symptoms were tremors/spasms which came and went, affecting his head, neck and shoulder, he almost looked as though he was having mild fits. I can put up the link of the video we took for the vet if you want to compare.
