Hi,
I'm currently applying to join several gundog/trialing/test clubs. I have spoken with the secretary of Leicestershire and i'm in need of a proposer and seconded to join. The problem is I don't know anyone in trialing and it has to be two current members of the club.
Would anyone on here be willing to propose and second my application please?
Thank you in anticipation,
Lee

i agree with the above. plus Leicester wont just accept names you have to have their autograph too.
Too many Springers, and Roxie the black cocker.

No, I've sent in applications for a number of clubs at the same time so I literally don't know anyone.keirk wrote:Are you member of any other clubs?

What I mean is, why not just find out when their next meeting is and show up? Strike up a few conversations, meet the people, make some friends with a common interest, and viola! - you have a few proposers. I would very much doubt you'll be brushed off, people love talking about their dogs and meeting new like-minded folk.
