New dog, new environment, new food, new routines. Keep calm and carry on for a few weeks and see how she goes. Have just upper my boys to higher protein. Has had loose poo for a week and a bit, good now. Don't panic!!

Stick with what you are feeding now, feed smaller meals more often and give her a few more days before visiting the vet if she still hasn't gone solid. When is she due for worming again? Is she ok in herself i.e. lively?
In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.

Thanks. She's fine in herself. Very lively etc apart from a bit of a limp, but that's another story! Nutter. Worming not due for another 8 weeks or so.

She's definitely not solid, but it isn't runny either. Just very soft!

I got sick of repairing my lawn 2 years ago, our dogs pee ruins our grass in one go !!
As I understand it, feeding raw (sorry Judy ) makes their pee more acidic, ours produce the best weed killer going !! :(
One pee and I get a dead patch, even tried following them round with a watering can, no joy !!

So I decided to put a stop to it.
We have an area of gravel at the back and side of the house, I've put an old tree stump and a couple of pieces of old ply leaning up against the wall for them to cock their legs on..
Easy enough to train, just don't let them go on the lawn, this year my lawn is perfect.. :-D

One problem is the smell so I buy some odour control stuff - http://www.daf-petfood.co.uk/cleaning-d ... -5ltr.html - and put this down every now and then..

:-D Simples !!

Hi,
I, too, have a 'dog run' which is to one side of the house where we took up the grass in that part and then laid some sand and on top of that we put a medium sized gravel. Every so often I use a diluted disintectant in a watering can and spray the whole area, especially during the late spring and summer months. I pick up the dog poo and that can be taken to dog bins when on walks. My dog goes to this area and does his 'business' on command. It is very useful early mornings and just before bedtime. This has worked exceptionally well for the last 12 years since having my dog as a puppy at 9 weeks old. My dog is an irish red and white setter male and has been a 'working' gundog all of his life. I can submit photos of this area is you are interested.
