Tracing my labs parents hip / eye scores

Post by colc08 »

Good afternoon,

Is there an online register where you can search and view past hip and eye scores of specific dogs? (proving they were done). I've done a fair amount of googling but can't find anything at all.

Cheers

Yes, if you know the KC names you can look them up on 'MyKC'.

Enter your dog's name and you can then click on the parents and siblings.

Better to go with the more general access to The Kennel Club online database - www.MyKC.org.uk
Register and from there select Tools and Resources, then Breed and then enter the youngest dog's name. You can then work your way back through pedigrees and all the health testing done. Also, check the lab breed club as I believe there is also an annual list of hip scores - not my breed so ask someone who really knows about this. For USA/Canada Google OFA and for Sweden Rasdata.nu

It is isn't it Alice! The best thing the KC have ever done by far. But I've wasted years of my time on it. Well maybe not wasted
