I recently started a new bag of Skinners Crunchy for my springer. After a couple of days he had become very loose and flatulent.
I then realised that the new food seemed to have a strong smell I had no noticed from previous bags.
I emailed Skinners yesterday (Sunday) and received a reply this morning asking for my address so a complimentary replacement bag could be sent together with a prepaid bag to send back a sample of the original bag for analysis.
What excellent customer service; full marks for their response.

Re: Well done Skinners
I stopped using crunchy, dog was exactly the same as yours and that was numerous bags and coat was flat and coarse, due to in part I expect to the low oil content which crunchy seems from what I recall the most unbalanced between protein and oils.another dog ha issue with working 23 Moved on to superior mixed with maintance without issue.

I would say that is very good of skinners I feed 2 dogs on skinners crunch direct from from Amazon subscription monthly I think it was £15 a bag . I was on Csj hi lost for a few years
but the dogs got itchy flakey skin lack of energy was sure it was the dog food as changed to skinners cured within 3 weeks. Emailed Csj regarding food never got a reply so still on skinners with no problems.

Interesting Collieman on two counts.
Firstly, I had purchased the Skinnes on Amazon subscription.
Secondly, I too have failed to get a reply from CSJ in recent months. Strange because their customer service used to be first class.
I didn't know until a few months go that CSJ is made by Dodson & Horrell group.
