And very unusual COI's. Teddy Ddu is around 30% and his daugher Sliver Bay Sweep around 2%

Essentially, the COI is a probability of risk - the risk of both genes at a particular locus being the identical because there is a common ancestor on both the sire and dam lines. Teddy Dhu is the result of a parent/offspring mating (his dam is also his half sister through the sire) and there is other close breeding in the Saighton lines too. But put Teddy Dhu to a bitch where the common ancestors are very few and far away, an outcross in fact, and the COI of the progeny drops dramatically - Windmillwood Shot in gen 6 (think that's right) of Silver Bay Sweep's pedigree is the first one on both her sire and dam lines.

It's hard to say having trained and worked with dogs from Talbot Radcliff, Saighton, Eddie Griffen Flint Mountain, and Allan Gwinn Winmillwood, and Andrew Green ParkBreck. I loved training them all, and we made champions with all of the blood lines for our selves or others here in the USA. Those that did make it in trial were just absolute superb shooting dogs and companions.

A lot of parkbreck in my dog's pedigree and some windmillwood too. Would love to hear more of these lines or the people behind them
