And another of the terrible twosome this AM

The lab look a like is a Lab x Belgian Shepherd (18 months) and he's my children's dog that they had at their mums. He's been with us a little while which is another story. He had no fitness and wouldn't look at a tennis ball let alone even dream of retrieving one. Bit of work and he's now mad for tennis balls and canvas dummy's. Think it would take someone far better than me to bring him to a level to be able to work him on a shoot though.

He is but I worry about 'noise' with the mix he is.

I might get him booked in for a residential assessment/training to see what's what while I focus on the trial pup.

Hi Alice

No she hasn't! He's at a home with a family where the bloke uses him for rough shooting apparently. I did advise do not get another dog but... I will pm you why bengals ended up with us as I'm not a believer in life story's in a public forum etc

Walt is a great dog, I'm really enjoying having him around. If he/we don't make the trialling grade he will be with me for life and I will use him on the various shoots I've now been invited on. I've applied for my shotgun licence too so will be able to shoot over him which I think will be key.

Cheers
