Ran out of food

Post by Ben Smith »

So I picked the wrong time to run out of kronch. What's the closest I'm gonna get in the pet shop until I can get some more kronch? He's a bit particular to change.
Many thanks

CSJ, tripe or salmon. Cheaper and better results!

Autarky is made by csj and can be bought anywhere, far superior and cheaper.

Actually, both products are made by Goldline which also makes Chudley's plus other "own brand" products. I'd get another salmon/fish based dog food from your local outlet, most working dog food manufactures do them now so Skinner's, Chudley's. CSJ isn't in all petfood shops. If you get together with some mates, you can buy directly from Goldline at basically 1/2 price of what you'd pay in the shops but you need to take 1/2 pallet - you can buy all the different types including the CSJ one's although they're not called CSJ but will come in a clear bag

Thanks all, some interesting information there. All sorted for this time now as pinched half a bag off a friend. There is a csj supplier down the road. I have tried it and it wasn't bad but he's definitely better on kronch. Sadly my bank balance isn't.

It costs more but you feed less, so it's no more expensive?

Or so they say

Hmm, that's the one part I'm not convinced about. Maybe just my springer but I do have to feed more than recommended or he'll drop weight. But I he does look good on it and it certainly agrees with him more than most foods.

I don't think you're alone in that. Pure sales hype, you'll feed just as much if not more to keep weight on a dog. Work it hard and you'll use 50-100% more than they suggest.
