Re: At stud FTCH Flaxdale Jamie
Ryan Thompson owned and ran flaxdale Jamie aka Murphy. He won his novice, was third in his first open (would have been higher but handler f.d up), won his second and third opens, ran him in Irish and uk champs and never ran him again. Sadly Ryan had a few personal problems which I hope he is sorting. I love the bitch I've got by him - had a ticket with her first trial last week. Couple of A panel judges have said she is probably the best dog they've ever seen me with!! I would have another pup from him any day of the week if I liked the bitch line. The dog (in my op) is a class act and the real deal.

You've summed it up. Murphy was the apple of Ryan's eye, he adored that dog and wouldn't have sold him lightly. Many thought he was the winner at the Irish champs. Hope Ryan gets back on track and gets a pup from himdeefer+tag wrote:Ryan Thompson owned and ran flaxdale Jamie aka Murphy. Did the son of flaxdale jamie get guns choice at the championship is it kilhopemoss minder? It would be interesting to see the two dogs hunting side by side. If the sire is still capable of course

Never seen this dog in the flesh, but my mate has just used him on his FTW bitch and he is more than excited after seeing Murphy and a couple of his offspring.
I cant recall seeing him on the champs dvd either, il have to look back.
He looks some dog.

He only ran in the last one at Davy lissitts in Scotland - and you couldn't see much of his run on the DVD - cover, weather (thick fog and f.cold!!) not sure about the Irish champs
