Say hello to Jarailstar Confetti

Post by Hepe »

A bit of a belated introduction of the latest dog in the house, Jarailstar Confetti. Her call name is Godis which means Candy in Swedish. She's an impulse buy on the internet, it's very easy to press the buy button. :16: Well ok, it wasn't quite like that, i did have to write a few words too and i was planning for another spaniel. The litter i was waiting for here in Sweden didn't happen so there was sort of a vacuum, ready to be filled with a little Godis. Thank you Jarailstar Gundogs for allowing me to buy her and going through the extra work with keeping her till she was allowed to travel etc. I hope she will become a star just like Heavenly.

So far i've only trained sit with her for a few minutes, once! I am proud of myself. :perfect: We'll slowly begin some shaping of things but mainly i will try not to mess around too much for now.

Her dummies are waiting for her though.

I was literally just reading your original post about Godis last night and wondering how she was doing.

She is so beautiful! Can't wait to hear more about how she gets on.

Good luck Helene!

She's beautiful!!!

Black and tan definitely features in my future. I thought maybe a Gordon Setter but I live far too far south for that so maybe something more like pretty Godis!

Thank you, she's such a sweetie, also bold and brave without being a suicide candidate. She's going to be a nuts for retrieving just like Scylla, that is clear already. Right now we are just taking small short strolls just outside the garden, letting her wiggle around in different terrain, keeping her close and having fun together. She's sleeping with me in the bed and sleeps almost trough the night. I have to work so she's a bit more alone with the older dogs than i would like, hence i like for her to be with me at night so we will bond better, i think we are. She's following me rather than the other dogs when we are out which i like.

This time i will NOT go banzai with hunting (aside training that is) before we are done with trials, i promise!!

Lovely Hepe.
Don't ever run her with a working Gorden though, her hunting pattern might suffer
