Top Zac

Post by Alice »

He is getting on in years now, and is not a trialling dog, but have any forum members seen, used or have offspring from Steve Roberts's (Towerbird affix) dog 'Top Zac'?

We often have topics about people wanting a big, traditionally powerful and good looking dog, and I can't think of one that would seem more apt than him. I don't know Steve, but I understand he is a fan of a hard goer too so the dog is unlikely to be a shrinking violet (his pedigree would suggest hardness too).

A few years ago I remember hearing of someone using the dog on Will Cluelee (I think?!)'s advice, he rated it highly. I'd forgotten the name of it til I inadvertantly reminded myself by googling Meonview Woodlark, who this dog is double-bred to, along with Glynvilla Griffin on both sides.
cheers,
Alice.

There was a video of the dog on youtube I think, or maybe a link to it on steve's website at one time. I think Rothievale would be the lady to ask as I am sure she has knowledge of the towerbird line

Honest question, did that dog `squeak' after the flush?

I heard some sort of sound but it's really hard to tell what is was- can't imagine it came from the dog.
cheers,
Alice.

It's as plain as the nose on Barry Manilo's face that the dog made a noise!! I'm down to about 60% hearing and I heard it, the wife heard it from the other side of the living room and it's only a mobile phone I watched the clip on FFS!!!!!
