Could that be cos they have Springer in them or is it that they have Cocker in them as well as Springer?

Feelings running high, lots of shoutiness, and DNA tests left, right, and centre. Bit like the Jeremy Kyle show.
Inside every springer, no matter how well trained, is an idiot trying to get out

Now look what you've done, I am sitting with a mental picture of a load of cockers and sprockers sitting on chairs with Jeremy Kyle laying into a springer dog telling him that the all important DNA test confirms that he is the feckless father of of all the pups.

I have just come back from the Netherlands bringing an ESS bitch pup where I bred the dam and the sire is Netherlands bred.
For the pedigree, their KC sends out a representative to DNA profile Sire and Dam and the pup - and only if if all matches up, then the pedigree is issued (and the DNA Profile is an integral part of the pedigree). I now have this documentation - and of course microchips are always checked too.
Any reasons why the KC could not do this? And check microchips before any tests or trials now it is a legal requirement re microchipping in the UK

Great idea Sgurr, but how much do their KC charge for registrations etc?
