He's dead right, he will never be the same again, that explains him buying a ruddy lab.Dawnrazor wrote:Utter dross sold by the most ignorant, dishonest obnoxious people I've ever had the misfortune to come across, they are an anomalie, they the exception to Darwens theory of natural evolution, I had to get trading standards involved to get a refund for the worst coat I've had in 30 years, it two years, get your money back asap, do not accept the "breathable waterproof" garment, it will be neither. Re: Country Covers/Fortis
How strange! I've had nothing but good quality kit and service from them.....
Re: Country Covers/Fortis
very strange ......ive had shit quality service a few years ago when I bought some breeks and a coat , as many others on here have found the bullshit they come out with very rudely too is laughable and delivery slower than a sloath smoking weed but ..but...I have found the product to be faultless, 100% waterproof and very breathable but as Beechessam said poorly styled but then I dont care what it looks like on a wet miserable day as long as im dry and warm

And that's the issue A. Some of it may do what it's supposed to do, there are some lucky ones out there but when you're paying that kind of money and waiting that long, every jacket every suit every pair of trousers should be waterproof and if not exchanged instantly.Bamburi wrote:very strange ......ive had shit quality service a few years ago when I bought some breeks and a coat , as many others on here have found the bullshit they come out with very rudely too is laughable and delivery slower than a sloath smoking weed but ..but...I have found the product to be faultless, 100% waterproof and very breathable but as Beechessam said poorly styled but then I dont care what it looks like on a wet miserable day as long as im dry and warm
It's s complete lottery in terms of quality, but one thing is guaranteed, customer service is shite for everyone!

Re: Country Covers/Fortis
I spoke to someone at the weekend who mentioned that Hugh, the father of the father-son team running country covers/fortis, passed away recently. The business is now being run by his son, Ollie. They are looking to do fewer country shows and focus their efforts on improving manufacture. Whether this will improve things or not, I don't know, but it might explain the recent lack of communication.
Re: Country Covers/Fortis
Nope, they were shit before the father died and they've been shit since, it won't the slightest diffirence. Get your money back, don't believe a word anyone from there tells you and avoid at all costs in future.Geoffer wrote:I spoke to someone at the weekend who mentioned that Hugh, the father of the father-son team running country covers/fortis, passed away recently. Really shite, and I mean properly shite.
If it was easy it wouldn't be so much fun.

Ok folks, I think we have the message now.
In life, it is important to know when to stop arguing with people and simply let them be wrong.
