The kennel is luxury all insulated and roofed run is 6ft by7ft and house is 6ft by 3ft. I always leave a hide chew for her so she has something to occupie her self. She is always in and out when we are home and always in at night. She never makes any noise in there and seems happy enough in there. I just see it she's better out there than in a crate in the day.

i'd litterely just posted the last post and yours popped up. must have typed it at the same time.
can you recommend any crate training books or puppy training books that are based on crate training?
Can anybody recommend a kennel / run size for a working cocker.
the dog will be housed within the house when i or my partner are home but will be housed in the kennel run when we are at work. my partner works part time so this will generally be for a maximum of 4 hours a day for 4 days a week
cheers

I think your dog will love these sheds. I got 6 x 9 BSW Garden Pod Quality Sheds from http://whatshed.co.uk/quality-sheds/ You can convert it into a dog house.I used mine as a garden shed for all my tools and few bonsai with enough space inside. This made my garden more attractive than before because of its curve design like no other. I guess your girlfriend will love it too.
I advise contacting the maker so they can make modification if you will convert it into a dog house. Maybe make the window a bit bigger. I think it's a bit small, and not enough light will come in inside. So I advise you to call them. They have great customer service who can help.

Sorry, I was searching using keywords and I failed to see this was way back 2013. My bad. Signs of getting old.
